    Hi,

I watched your Facebook business page tutorial (Nov.2014 ver. ) and having an issue…
I hope you can help me.

I made my business page in my personal FB account.
I got FB web address for my business. Personal one doesn’t have FB web address.= Blank

When I search for my business in facebook, it does show up in FB search BUT so as my personal name!!
    Why is it happening?
Could you help me solve this?

Hi Tina, is your business page name close to your personal name? The search searches for everything including pages, groups, and personal profiles. If so, in the search it will think that you are looking for your own profile too. Facebook is very dependent on your log in information. So if I am looking for your page logged in as myself, it should not show me results for your personal profile if we have no connection on Facebook. Hope that answers your question.

Thank you for your help, Theresa.

No, in my personal page I have no info. about my business page.
Personal page and business page are named very differently.
My personal page used to have web address of my business name for about 3days then I moved that web address to my business page so
right now personal page doesn’t have web address.

Hi Tina, I think I may understand now. The web address that you created for your business page, needs to be placed on your browsers url address bar instead of the search. Example would be: http://facebook.com/ibrandyourbusiness . What is the username or URL you created? If something went wrong, use a desktop (not a phone or mobile devise). Click on your page by clicking on “Home” from your personal profile. You will see your page on the left hand column, click on it. Click on “Settings,” Click on “Page Info.” if it gives you a message that it has moved click on the link where Facebook tells you it moved “Visit About Tab.” On the “Facebook Web Address” option see what it reads there. If it doesn’t have an address there, like, “www.facebook.com/ibrandyourbusiness” then it didn’t take the first time or the web address was taken. Hope that helps – Theresa.
