Create a Facebook Cover Photo and Thumbnail with PowerPoint
This is a tutorial from when iBrand Your Business was MediaPix Web Designs. This video tutorial explains how you can design a Facebook Cover Photo and Thumbnail using Microsoft PowerPoint. But still works great today. Plus, you can save it and make changes in the future.
IMPORTANT: Since this tutorial was published, Facebook’s layout changed but still has the same dimensions. Please be careful not to put anything at the bottom of your picture as you can see here (in red). Facebook Timeline Pages will cover your bottom portion of your graphic or picture (almost an inch at the bottom of your page) with an overlay of their buttons, and the title of your page.
You can use PowerPoint or Keynote. If you’re proficient in MS Word, you can follow along too. MediaPix Web Designs was formerly iBrand Your Business.
